BVPA Congres 2012
The Dutch Association for Public Affairs Professionals (BVPA) is proud to present the second Dutch National Public Affairs Congress on Monday 2 April 2012.
The central theme of the congress will be the lobby around and in favour of the Olympic Plan 2028.
The purpose of the congress is 3-fold:
a) Using a concrete case to show in more detail what the public affairs profession, the various methods and insights are and could achieve ;
b) To challenge participants to contribute with their own expertise/network to find a solution for the dilemmas that the Olympic Plan 2028 deals with (e.g. organisation support, boosting the cooperation amongst multiple stakeholders, etc);
c) To inform and inspire Public affairs and communication professionals about the Olympic Plan 2028, so they will act as 'ambassador' of the plan and possibly adopt the ideas in their own daily professional activities.
Tessa Jowell, Brittish minister of the Olympic Games 2012 in London, is keynote speaker and Tom van 't Hek is chairman of the day.
The congress takes place in theatre Diligentia in Den Haag. Workshops will be held in the nearby Pulchri Studio and Sociëteit de vereniging. Besides members of BVPA, Sports directors, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, civil servants, journalists and other interested people will be invited.
